She holds a BA in Spanish Philology and an MA in Gender and Diversity from the University of Oviedo, as well as an MA in Gender Equality in Human, Legal, and Social Sciences from the CISC. She is currently doing her PhD thesis, entitled "Construcciones de la ciudadanía: la búsqueda de espacios para la igualdad en la prosa ensayística de autoras españolas (1831-1936)," for which she received an FPU scholarship. Her academic interests include Nineteenth- and Twentieth-Century Spanish Literature by female writers, and the study of women's incorporation to the culture of Spanish Modernity through writing and political activism. She has published the poetry collections Apuntes de espera (Torremozas, 2010; XI "Gloria Fuertes" Award of Young Poetry), Parentesco (Suburbia, 2012), and Traje roto (Ejemplar Único, 2015). She runs a website connected to her literary work: albagonzalezsanz.es.
