CARLA MARIA RODRIGUEZ GONZALEZ
She is Senior Lecturer in the Department of English, French and German Philology at the University of Oviedo since 2000. She holds a BA (Special Distinction Award) from the University of Oviedo, and was awarded a PhD from the same institution for her dissertation on national identity negotiations in the work of contemporary Scottish female writers. She has won a Scholarship from the Principado de Asturias Research Plan (FICYT). She has published monographs, edited collections, translations, and research papers in international academic journals within the field of Contemporary Scottish and British, as well as Postcolonial literatures. From 2012 to 2014 she was Copy Editor of Atlantis, Journal of the Spanish Association for Anglo-American Studies.
